Transient Glory Symposium Accommodations

YPC and NYU Guest Accommodations have secured quality, moderately priced hotel rooms at two local hotels. For the best room selection and availability please make your plans as early as possible. Rooms are on special reserve for arrival on August 10 and departure August 14, 2005. Reservations must be booked before July 15, 2005. After this date, or when the room block allocated to the group has been filled, normal rate and availability restrictions will apply. All requests are on a first come first served basis.

New York Club Quarters

The hotel is located at 52 William Street in the Historic Financial District one block from Wall Street. Club Quarters is a privately operated hotel under contract with New York University for the exclusive use of guests of the University staying in New York. The hotel offers the atmosphere and security of a private club in rooms that are efficiently designed for the business traveler.

Club Quarters Guest Room Features and Rates:

Executive: A small, comfortable room with one double bed.
Daily Conference Rate: $ 124.00 Weekend Special Rate: $ 86.00*

Director: NYU’s preferred room, Standard-size with one queen-size bed. A limited number of Director rooms have two twin beds or room for a rollaway for guests wishing to share. Room rate listed is for single occupancy.
Daily Conference Rate: $ 144.00 Weekend Special Rate: $ 96.00*

*Weekend rate is available for a two night minimum stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

The Greenwich Inn is a private, economy style, student-operated inn with apartments on the ground floor of a dormitory building used for University housing. The inn offers the lowest rates possible for a comfortable NYU affiliated hotel room in a collegiate atmosphere. Located in the West Village, the inn is on the corner of Morton Street, a 12-minute walk from Washington Square and the NYU campus.

Greenwich Inn Guest Room Features and Rates:

Two Bedroom Suite: Private apartment style suite with living and dining area, kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with one or two double beds. Some bedrooms are available with two twin size beds. Daily Rate: $185.00

European Style (Shared Bath) Suite: Private bedroom in a semiprivate two-bedroom suite. Suitemates share common kitchen facilities, living/dining area, and bathroom. Each private room has its own locking door and one or two double size beds or two twin size beds. Daily Rate: $110.00

Student Style Dormitory: Single bed in a semiprivate bedroom shared with 1 – 3 other single student travelers in a large suite. Each dormitory space is equipped with a desk and closet space with dresser. Linens and towels are provided. Bedrooms are single sex whenever possible. Baths are private; the suite has a co-ed living area with full kitchen facilities. Daily Rate: $ 50.00

Hotel rooms at slightly higher rates are also available at Club Quarters, Midtown. The hotel is located at 40 West 45th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in Midtown Manhattan a five minute walk from Times Square.
