The Young People's Chorus Chamber Singers is part of the Young People's Chorus of New York City, under the direction of Francisco J. Núñez.

The YPC is a performance-based choral program that has become a widely acclaimed citywide ensemble for children and teens and young adults. The YPC's five choral divisions include two children's choruses, a concert treble chorus, a young men's chorus, and a mixed semi-professional SATB chorus.

Singing many genres from world music to classical to jazz to large oratorios and operas, the YPC is committed to contemporary music, and has commissioned 25 new works to date by some of the world's most eminent composers.

The Chamber Singers has performed new works by the likes of Robert Kapilow, Nils Vigeland, Jim Papoulis, and Owen Burdick among others. Past concerts have included performances in Carnegie Hall, the 92nd Street Y, St. Patrick's Cathedral as well as venues abroad and on National Public Radio.

Founded by composer/conductor Francisco J. Núñez, the YPC became an independent not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 organization in 1997. Now headquartered at the 92nd Street Y, YPC reaches out to hundreds of young people throughout and beyond the city, creating a mosaic of New York City's multicultural population and helping urban youth to fulfill their personal and artistic potential.

Audition for the Chamber Singers!
